American Songwriter announced their selections for this year’s top 50 albums. Making the list are Hayes Carll’s Kmag Yoyo at number 6 and Photographs by Robert Ellis at the 31 slot.

BestFest Adds Four Artists - Rocks Off
Today the Houston Press announced four more artists for the September 24 and 25 BestFest: Hayes Carll, Carolyn Wonderland, Slim Thug, and Against Me!
They’ve also posted who’s playing which days, among the ten artists that have been announced thus far.
Saturday, September 24: Against Me!, Chamillionaire, Bun B, Slim Thug, The Tontons
Sunday, September 25: Cake, Deer Tick, Buxton, Hayes Carll, Carolyn Wonderland
Tickets are available at bestfesthouston.com, and weekend passes are just $25 until prices go up on September 1.
