The Literary Greats, Pale Play Album Release Shows Tomorrow
Two of our locals play album release shows on Thursday night: rockers Pale and solid Americana quintet The Literary Greats.

Pale will take the stage at Warehouse Live, unveiling their album In The Time Of Dangerous Men, which is currently available for streaming on their site.

Black Blizzard, the third album from the Brandon Elam-led crew known as The Literary Greats, has been out for almost two months, but the album finally gets a proper release show at The Continental Club. This will be no ordinary Literary Greats show, but will be a full-on extravaganza featuring horns, strings, and backup singers. The Orbans, of Fort Worth, open up the night.
For a taste of what Black Blizzard sounds like, here’s a free download of the track “Night Owl.”

The Literary Greats want you to join their e-mail list, and they’re prepared to give away music to you just for signing up.
Heck, we did it. The reward is a live version of Show Me The Coast, a song on their 2009 album Ocean, Meet The Valley.
