Need some shows to see in the near future? Check out this list of February’s shows from The Treaty Oak Collective. Brandon’s got some great stuff lined up, including a Co-Pilot appearance, and seven-inch release shows from American Sharks and Peloton.
Mark up that calendar and save those nights.

Tonight, at Fitzgerald’s! Some great bands are playing, and you’d be wise to be there. Doors are at 7:30 pm, and tickets are $10.
This show is Saturday, just north of downtown.

“Nothing Here Seems Strange” Release Show
I’d just like to say that you’d be a fool to miss this show. On top of the stellar antics that are Buxton, I’d like to enter into evidence this video of Featherface performing ABBA’s “Fernando.”

This ought to be a great show.
Just got our review copy of Titan Blood’s “Too Much Talk” seven-inch in the mail today. Look for a review to come soon - but not until next week, as I’ll be at FFF Fest this weekend.
If you’re into punk, this is one of the best shows of the year for you. Not only are the bands among Houston’s top ranks, but also the DJs have some impressive collections onto which they’ll drop the lucky needles. Here’s a handy Facebook event so you can let all your punk friends know you’re going.
This happens tomorrow night. Lords Of The Universe is a Black Sabbath cover band featuring Roy Mata, Jeff Poppe, John Adams and Dann Miller. They were originally supposed to play on New Year’s at the Proletariat once upon a time (in 2005), but it never happened.
Tonight, tonight! Head out to Fitzgerald’s and swim in the murky, howling, fuzzed-out psychedelia that is a Black Angels show.
Poster (which I love) by Will Harrison.
